Chizuru, a 23-year-old typical Japanese female office worker, is socially clumsy, poor at romance and unhappy with her job. Being weary from busy and stressful city life, she seriously desires to end her life somewhere faraway from the city and leaves for deep in the mountains, where she finds one guest house. Then she attempts to commit suicide by taking sleeping pills in the guest house but she fails... This is the beginning of her new life. A simple country life in the excellent views of the mountains with a kind owner of the guesthouse, Mr. Tamura and other warm, honest village people, helps her get her strength back little by little. This is the journey of a clumsy young lady, who once tried to end her life but now tries to restart her life to find a new place to live.
