STORY: One day, a young lady is sent to a prison. She is arrested as an arsonist. A warden of the prison, Shioya has known her and because he believes in her innocence, he begins to investigate this case secretly d espite that the police code prohibits a warden to a conduct investigation. During this while, the suspect lady is sent to a series of merciless tortures in prison. Through Shinya’s investigation, an unexpected fact is revealed.Meanwhile, a Christian lady and a girl whom Shioya fasters are sent to the prison one after another. While seeing them being tortured,
he hurries to prove their innocence.
*This story is based on the historical record of tortures in the Samurai era of Japan. Several style of tortures, such as caning, hanging, stone weight and rocking horse are shown in this program.
