The "photo soldier "brought back to life again on the silver screen poignantly conveys the beauty, preciousness and the difficulty of "being loyal to your own spirit," a quality a majority of us living at the end of the 20th Century seem to have lost. And the simplest question he throws at us pierces our hearts: "Is that really the way you want to live your life?“
