STORY: Shuji and Chise, two high school students from a quiet town in Hokkaido, have just begun their relationship when disaster strikes. One day, Sapporo is suddenly bombed by an enemy of unknown origin. As Shuji scrambles to escape, a mysterious object appears in the sky, wreaking havoc on the attackers.
To his shock, Shuji discovers that the object is Chise—now transformed with wings and armed with an immense weapon. She has become a cyborg enginerred for mass-destruction. Shuji can only watch helplessly as she is thrust into this new reality.
How will they cope with the heavy burden they now face? And what will become of their love in the face of such overwhelming challenges?
