STORY: On the eve of the French Revolution, a mysterious figure known as the “Star of La Seine” emerges to fight against corrupt aristocrats. This brave hero is Simone, a flower-seller whose parents were killed by the selfish actions of Marie Antoinette. Afterward, she was adopted by the de Forges family. Wearing black, riding a black horse, and masked in red, Simone takes to the streets, giving money to the poor and rescuing those arrested for revolutionary activities. Appearing at critical moments, she always leaves behind a red carnation as her symbol.
